Wander ’round this annual fair with some European flair. Celebrate the holidays at the Distillery Historic District, for the Toronto Christmas Market. This will definitely get you all jolly and cheerful for the holidays. The best thing about this is that it’s f-r-e-e!
A Massive Dance Party: HoHoTO
Mark yo’ calendar for December 11th, and get ready to dance the night away at the Mod Club. If dancing ain’t your cup of eggnog, there are drinks, raffles, and a photo booth for you and your S.O. to enjoy. All proceeds go towards the Daily Bread Food Bank.

Kick off the holiday season the right way. On November 29th, pay a visit to Nathan Phillips Square and watch live music, fireworks, and the lighting of Toronto’s official Christmas tree. Perfect place to smooch with your S.O., if you’re into PDA and bustling crowds.
Toronto Neighborhoods as Xmas Trees @ 12 Trees of Christmas
Be dazzled by an exhibition of pretty Christmas trees at the Gardiner Museum. Interested in seeing Leslieville or Chinatown in the form of a Christmas tree? This year’s theme is favourite neighbourhoods, and each decorated tree is inspired by various Toronto neighbourhoods. $9 for student tickets and $15 for adult tickets.
102.1’s Edgefest Jingle Bell Concert Series
Two reasons to attend: $1 of every ticket purchase goes towards the Daily Bread Food Bank, and you can bring non-perishables to donate. Some artists include Death From Above 1979, Tokyo Police Club (nonexistent significant other, you better take me here), and July Talk. If you can’t think of a holiday gift to get your S.O., take them to see their favourite band. Just do it.
Fort York's Frost Fair
If you’ve never been inside historic Fort York, this is the perfect time to go. With the regular $9 admission, you get to experience the Frost Fair, a Christmas Market, in addition to Fort York itself. Cuddle up and stay warm by the bonfire, because baby, it’s cold outside.

Dress up in your fanciest attire and take your lovely date to see a holiday-themed ballet show. Tickets start at $26, which won’t be too hard on your wallet.
Go See Handel’s Messiah
Is classical music your kind of taste? Or your S.O.’s? Experience and enjoy as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra performs the joyous Messiah at the Roy Thompson Hall. Tickets start at $38.
