Why You Need To Go: AFROFEST is the "largest free African Music Festival in North America," according to the website. The three-day festival is celebrating its 36th year and is taking place at Woodbine Park.
There are over 55 performances to enjoy with both local and international artists.
You can also check out the AFROFEST Marketplace which features over 100 food and merchandise vendors, or head to the Drum Zone to experience traditional African drumming and dance.

Why You Need To Go: If you love Sephora you'll want to head to the Bentway this weekend. The area recently launched Beauty at the Bentway, "a large-scale installation and revitalized community space that transformed a raw, undeveloped portion of The Bentway into something beautiful," according to a press release.
Sephora’s Beauty at The Bentway is a new community space where you can get free samples from popular brands including Youth To The People, K18, Caudalie, Biossance and more.
The free samples are being offered this Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to noon.

Why You Need To Go: Get ready to get groovy! The TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival is taking place this weekend and it will "completely transform midtown Toronto into the ultimate fiesta," according to the website.
You can enjoy over 350 Canadian and international performers, see the colourful TLN Fiesta Parade and more.
There will be authentic Latin cuisine such as empanadas and tacos, as well as music, dancing and art.

Why You Need To Go: Get your popcorn ready! The Toronto Outdoor Picture Show is taking place at Christie Pitts Park this Sunday and you can enjoy a movie beneath the stars.
The film will be Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times and there will also be a short film called The Necktie.
Don't forget to bring a blanket and chair, as well as some snacks to indulge in as you watch the show. There will be food vendors on site so you can purchase some treats at the event.

Why You Need To Go: Calling all Nutella lovers! The iconic chocolate and hazelnut spread will be taking over Yonge-Dundas Square with a "unique and immersive experience," according to a press release.
Nutella’s CGI hot-air balloon, which is shaped like its jar, has been showcasing hidden gems across Canada on social media and it will be making an appearance in Toronto this weekend.
You can snap some photos with the Nutella Balloon and enjoy a taste of Newfoundland with some free freshly prepared Toutons topped with Nutella.

Why You Need To Go: The ROM's Free Main Floor has returned for the summer and you can explore the main floor of the museum without paying for admission.
