Listen up, because WestJet is bringing new destinations for Calgary travellers! If you're already planning to escape the Alberta winter, you're in luck, because WestJet has announced new non-stop flight routes from Calgary Airport to warm destinations for the winter 2025/26 schedule.
These new WestJet routes include Guadalajara, Mexico; Panama City, Panama; Tepic (Riviera Nayarit), Mexico; Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; and Cozumel, Mexico.
The new winter schedule is also going to have "enhanced domestic connectivity," and an "expanded daily year-round service to Tokyo and extended year-round service to WestJet's recently inaugurated destination, Mexico City," according to the press release.
The Calgary to Guadalajara route will run twice a week, starting on December 7, 2015 until April 12, 2026.
The Calgary to Panama City route will run four times a week from December 13 to April 25. The Calgary to Tepic (Riviera Nayarit) will also be from December 13 to April 25 and run once a week.
Calgary to Puerto Plata will run once a week from December 14 to April 12, and Calgary to Cozumel will run once a week from December 20 to April 11.
Then there's also the year-round route from Calgary to Mexico City, which will be running four times weekly.
So, if a sunny vacation wasn't already in your plans, these new WestJet flights might just be calling your name!
