Vancouver's legendary night market is getting a new claim to fame for the 2025 season, and it'll have you soaring and flying. The Richmond Night Market is the largest in North America and a popular activity for Vancouverites during the warmer months.
Set to open in late April, the night market is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, adding a unique twist. In addition to its fun games, over 110 vendors, tasty food options, and fun vibe, the market will feature a 600-foot zipline.
The market announced the new activity on Instagram this week, dubbing it the "world's first night market zipline."
"In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, get ready for the 600-foot aerial thrill ride, soaring over the dazzling lights and energy of the market," the post said.
Even better, you can race your friends since there are four side-by-side ziplines. While the thrill of the zipline adds another level of fun, the night market is a must-see spot, even if you're not up for the adrenaline rush. Under the bright lights of the market, you'll find vendors selling everything from jewellery to treats.
According to the website, there are " over 600 international food options" here, so get ready to eat. Think Tomahawk Flying Cup Noodles, Chicken Lollipops and Rolled Ice Cream (is your mouth watering yet?).
The Richmond Night Market will open on April 25 and run until October 13. It is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Stat Sundays from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. and on regular Sundays and Stat Holidays from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
