Canada's 2024-2025 winter weather forecast has dropped, and people in Alberta should bundle up for a chilly season ahead. Alberta's weather forecast for the winter predicts "periods of severe cold" to hit the province.

The Weather Network dropped its winter forecast on November 27 and said that the country can expect a more "traditional" winter season ahead, as opposed to what we have seen in the past couple of years. The west is looking a bit different though, as it's forecasted to get the brunt of the cold weather. TWN forecast said that "the focus of winter's fury will be in western Canada, where near-normal and colder-than-normal temperatures are expected to dominate."
