If you’re planning to fly with Air Canada this year, you’re in for a treat (literally). The airline has expanded their complimentary snacks, beer and wine offering to their North American Economy Class flights.*

Economy Class passengers within Canada and the U.S. can now indulge in free snacks on every flight, with a choice between two home-grown favourites: buttery herb and garlic pretzels from Alberta’s TWIGZ — a family-owned, women-led company — or Leclerc’s Célébration Cookie, a sweet treat made with real milk chocolate and butter from Quebec.

On flights within Canada and to and from the U.S., you can also enjoy complimentary beer and wine until the end of 2024. Grab a craft beer, like Hop Valley Bubble Stash IPA or Creemore Springs Premium Lager, or go for classics like Molson Canadian and Coors Light. For wine lovers, there are two French wines from Paul Mas — one robust red and a fresh, dry white.

If cocktails are more your style, there's good news for you too. This year, you can now snag spirits for $5 each, including Baileys Original Irish Cream, Canadian Club rye, Bacardi Superior rum, Bombay Sapphire gin, Smirnoff vodka, Tromba Tequila Blanco, or Campari. That's 40% off the usual price.

This new perk builds on Air Canada’s recent food and beverage overhaul. Earlier this year, they upgraded their in-flight menu with over 100 new rotating, globally inspired recipes, along with new snacks and drinks, making their bar offering the largest among North American airlines.
