Summer might look a bit different these days at Truist Park, but that doesn't mean you can't have a little fun at the establishments nearby. At The Battery in Atlanta, Fat Tuesday, a Mardi Gras-inspired daiquiri bar you might recognize from New Orleans, is going to change the game. Get ready to cool off with some giant boozy slushies.

According to a press release put out today, Fat Tuesday is officially coming to Atlanta's The Battery this summer. The new location is a sister-store to the Atlanta-founded New Orleans Original Daiquiri that opened in the city in 1984.

Since then, the establishment has become an international chain with 20 retail shops throughout the US in cities like Miami, Key West, and Las Vegas. International locations can also be found in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Honduras.

The space will encompass 1,118 square feet and be located right across from El Super Pan on the corner of Legend's Place and Battery Walk. While the walk-up daiquiri joint is set to open later this summer, exact dates have yet to be released.

Fat Tuesdays will serve up frozen concoctions in all kinds of different flavors, perfect for a boozy fruity sip on a hot day.

Just a few flavors you'll see on the menu include Margarita, 190 Octane, Bellini, and Jungle Juice. You can mix and match flavors to create your own custom slushes, similarly to the famous Wet Willie's in Savannah.

The press release also states that because of the open layout of The Battery, customers will be able to walk-up, grab their cocktail to-go, and head to their next spot to keep the party going.

Multiple souvenir cups ranging from easily handheld digs to bigger, badder, and longer containers that are almost as tall as you depending on how much you want to sip down will also be available.

Grabbing a cold mixed frozen daiquiri and finding a spot on the turf by the entrance to Truist Park this summer sounds like it will be the perfect excuse to drag your boo along on a boozy date night.
