Say goodbye to your social life as Mayor Carlos Gimenez is slowly shutting down the county yet again.

On Wednesday, July 6, short term rentals, gyms, and dining rooms in restaurants close in Miami-Dade under a new order to slow down the COVID-19 surge.

Restaurants across the county will still be able to offer takeout and delivery.

This won't be a "total" shutdown as pools, daycare centers, retail stores, and grooming services like nails and hair salons will be allowed to remain open.

The move comes as the county is experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases.
