Canadians Are Googling Real Estate Non-Stop & These Are The Most Searched Provinces

The hunt for homes & mortgages is the highest it's been in years!

Canadians have been googling houses and mortgages more than usual and we know the most sought-after provinces that have caught their eye.    

Five provinces in Canada were rated the highest in mortgage searches while three provinces were seen to have the most searches for homes, Google told Narcity in an email.

The top province searches for mortgages in the past month were Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Alberta and B.C. in that order.

Additionally, the provinces of Ontario, B.C. and Quebec also dominated the list of cities with the most home searches, with Cannington, Ontario taking first place.

The data further showed that searches for houses for sale, mortgage loans and more were the highest they've been in five years.
