Burlington is a charming city located along the shores of Lake Ontario, about an hour away from Toronto. It's a dreamy destination to visit during the spring, featuring stunning cherry blossoms, cozy cafes and more.
One of the best spots to see the cherry blossoms is Spencer Smith Park. The waterfront area has a trail lined with flowering trees, allowing you to stroll through a whimsical tunnel of pink petals.
There are around 40 trees at Spencer Smith Park, and it's a magical place to snap some photos and celebrate the season.
Minutes from the park, you can discover Village Square — a storybook hidden gem that feels like a step back in time. According to the website, the area was "designed and built to create the atmosphere of a turn-of-the-century town square," and with its winding paths, charming shops, and classic red telephone booth, you'll feel like you've been whisked off to Europe.
