One of the most spectacular experiences in Toronto during spring is visiting its beautiful cherry blossoms. The city is home to a variety of stunning locations to enjoy the blooms, and if you're wondering where to see the best displays, these are the places you won't want to miss.

From picturesque parks to dreamy gardens and more, these locations around Toronto boast enchanting spring views and endless blooms.

According to a news release from the City of Toronto, the cherry blossoms are expected to reach peak bloom later this week due to rising temperatures. Peak bloom typically lasts between four and 10 days, depending on the weather.

The City of Toronto website outlines some top destinations to enjoy the cherry blossoms:

  • Birkdale Ravine
  • Broadacres Park
  • Cedar Ridge Park
  • Cedarvale Park
  • Centennial Park
  • Cherry Street and Villiers Street
  • Edwards Gardens
  • Exhibition Place
  • High Park
  • Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre
  • John P. Robarts Research Library
  • Legislative Assembly of Ontario
  • Toronto Island Park
  • Trinity Bellwoods Park
  • University of Toronto Scarborough Campus
  • Woodbine Park

It's important to stay on designated trails when viewing the cherry blossoms and refrain from touching the trees.

Another beautiful cherry blossom destination to explore just outside the city is Kariya Park. Located in Mississauga, the area will whisk you away to Japan with its authentic buildings and stunning pink blooms.

Wherever you end up, seeing cherry blossoms around the city is a magical way to celebrate the spring season.
