This small town near Toronto is transforming into a postcard-worthy Christmas village and it's worth a road trip. You can wander along glittering streets, visit festive shops and more while exploring this spot.
Niagara-on-the-Lake is the place to be if you're obsessed with Christmas. According to Niagara-on-the-Lake Tourism, the area transforms into an "authentic Christmas Village" with twinkly shops, festive events and endless holiday magic.
There's lots to enjoy during the Christmas season. You can watch the Santa Claus Parade, go on the Holiday House Tour and visit some of the enchanting Christmas markets.
The Candlelight Stroll is "a mesmerizing journey through our historic town adorned with twinkling lights and festive decorations" that will get you in the holiday spirit.
You can also head to the Shaw Festival to see A Christmas Carol performed.
Other festive events include Breakfast with Santa at Prince of Wales, outdoor skating at Pillar and Post and a Dickensian Feast at Prince of Wales Hotel.
