Promis durant la campagne électorale par la Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), la limitation de plusieurs tarifs gouvernementaux est en chemin de devenir une réalité. Le ministre des Finances, Eric Girard, a présenté le premier projet de loi de la nouvelle session parlementaire ce 1er décembre dernier. Il vise à limiter à 3 % l'indexation des tarifs jusqu'en 2026 afin d'aider la population à traverser cette période d'augmentation du coût de la vie.

« C'est une mesure importante de notre bouclier anti-inflation que nous souhaitons concrétiser rapidement pour protéger le pouvoir d'achat des Québécois », a tweeté le ministre.
