'Canada's first tulip forest' is opening soon near Vancouver and it's going to be magical
This spring you can wander through a fairytale-like forest with tulips blooming all around, at the very first "tulip forest" to open in Canada. Maan Farms, a family-run operation in Abbotsford, just announced the tulip forest, which is set to open in April.
While there are a few stunning options for seeing the tulips bloom in the Lower Mainland, this isn't your average flower field. Maan Farms shared a sneak peek look at the tulips growing amid the towering trees of the forest. "Wander through vibrant aisles of tulips nestled within a serene forest—an enchanting backdrop for unforgettable family photos," the caption said.
The farm has lots on the go for the season, including baby animals, a wine tasting room, ice cream, and Easter activities.
"Spring At The Farm" starts on April 5 and admission starts at $21. The general admission ticket includes access to the tulip forest and 11 barnyard attractions — like the zipline and pedal go-karts.
Baby Animal Easter Days (BAE Days) are on April 12 and 13, and general admission is $24. At BAE Days you can visit the baby animals, explore the tulip forest, get a photo op with the East Bunny, and join the egg hunt.
Just an hour's drive from Vancouver this makes for the perfect escape from the city on a sunny spring day.
