Several stars have already been spotted around Toronto checking out various restaurants and bringing treats to their film crews.
Here are all the celebs who are filming projects in Toronto and where you might spot them.
Frankenstein
Jacob Elordi has joined the cast of Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein movie which will air on Netflix.
In early January, Deadline reported the Saltburn actor would replace Andrew Garfield as the iconic monster due to scheduling conflicts Garfield had come across.
Oscar Isaac will play Victor Frankenstein in the film. The cast also includes Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley and Christian Convery, according to IMDb.
The website says the film will follow Dr. Pretorious who needs to "track down Frankenstein's monster who is believed to have died in a fire 40 years before in order to continue the experiments of Dr. Frankenstein."
Production on the film is slated to start around February 12 and continue until early July.
A release date for the film is unknown at this point.
Several members of the cast, including director del Toro have already been spotted in Toronto.
On January 23, Pai restaurant shared a photo of Isaac, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz and del Toro with several staff members.
Star Trek: Section 31
Crazy Rich Asians actress Michelle Yeoh is in Toronto working on her latest project.
The Oscar-winning actress is filming a new Paramount+ movie called Star Trek: Section 31.
Yeoh will play Emperor Philippa Georgiou who "joins a secret division of Starfleet tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets and faces the sins of her past," as per the IMDb description.
The Everything Everywhere All at Once actress has already been spotted in Toronto. The Hollywood star paid a visit to two restaurants: Kiss My Pans and Roselle Desserts.
Both restaurants shared photos with Yeoh and one even showed photos of the actress trying some of their new pastries.
Production on Star Trek: Section 31 will continue until mid-March, according to Hollywood North Buzz.
The cast also includes Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl, and Sam Richardson.
The movie is slated to be released sometime in 2025.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
There's another Star Trek production underway in Toronto.
Filming of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 is underway at the CBS Stages Canada in Mississauga.
There was a delay during production due to the Hollywood strikes, and filming resumed in December, according to Hollywood North Buzz.
The show is a prequel to Star Trek: The Original Series and follows "the crew of the USS Enterprise under Captain Christopher Pike," according to IMDb.
The series stars Ethan Peck, Anson Mount, Christina Chong and Melissa Navia.
Production on Season 3 will wrap up in May.
Reacher
Reacher Season 2 just wrapped up on Amazon Prime so fans will be happy to know the cast is already working on Season 3.
Alan Ritchson, who plays Jack Reacher in the series, has been keeping fans updated with some fun videos and photos from the set that he's shared on his Instagram story. According to his posts, Ritchson has not been a fan of shooting scenes during the winter in Toronto.
In June 2023, The Hamilton Spectator reported the third season of Reacher would be filmed at Bayfront Studios on Queen Street North in Hamilton.
Production on Season 3, which will be based on Lee Child's book Persuader, started last year and was expected to wrap up by November 2023 but it was delayed due to the Hollywood strike.
It's now expected to wrap up in March.
What We Do in the Shadows

Filming of Season 6 of the vampire comedy What We Do in the Shadows is currently underway in Toronto.
The FX show follows the "nightly lives of four vampires who have lived together on Staten Island for over a century."
It stars Kayvan Novak as Nandor, Matt Berry as Laszlo Cravensworth, Natasia Demetriou as Nadja and Harvey Guillén as Guillermo de la Cruz.
Fans of the show have set up a Reddit page listing all the locations in Toronto where the show has been filmed over the years.
Production on Season 6 is scheduled to wrap up in April.
Murdoch Mysteries
The long-running CBC detective show Murdoch Mysteries is currently filming Season 17 in Ontario.
Filming of the latest season started last summer in areas like Gravenhurst. According to MuskokaToday.com, the crew was spotted filming at the Muskoka Wharf and Gull Lake Rotary Park in June 2023.
The Belleville Intelligencer also reports the cast was seen filming the CBC show in downtown Belleville in June 2023.
Murdoch Mysteries is set in the 1890s and follows William Murdoch as he solves gruesome murders with "radical forensic techniques for the time," including fingerprinting and trace evidence.
The series stars Yannick Bisson as Detective William Murdoch, Helene Joy as Dr. Julia Ogden and Thomas Craig as Inspector Thomas Brackenreid.
Production on Season 17 is expected to wrap up in mid-February.
The Apprentice
Sebastian Stan has been spotted in Toronto shooting the new Apprentice film, which follows the story of how a young Donald Trump started his real estate business in New York during the 1970s and '80s.
Stan stars as Trump in the movie and he was spotted in character multiple times in January in downtown Toronto. Some fans have been sharing online how "spot on" Stan looks as the former U.S. president.
The film also stars Succession actor Jeremy Strong and Maria Bakalova.
Production on the Apprentice is expected to wrap up soon.
Cruel Intentions
A new TV series adapted from the 1999 movie, Cruel Intentions, is being filmed in Toronto.
According to IMDb, the show will follow two "ruthless step-siblings who will try to do anything to stay on top and preserve their power and reputations."
After a long delay due to the Hollywood strike, production on the Amazon Prime Video series resumed in November 2023 and is expected to wrap up shortly, as reported by Hollywood North Buzz.
The cast includes Sarah Catherine Cook, Zac Burgess, Savannah Lee Smith, Sarah Silva and Sean Patrick Thomas.
