Michael Bublé just called this small town in BC 'one of the most beautiful places on Earth'
Vancouver-born celebrity Michael Bublé just declared this ski town in B.C. "one of the most beautiful places on Earth" as he gushed about it on social media.
Bublé posted a series of photos to Instagram of himself and his wife wandering the picturesque streets of Whistler.
"Spent the day with my beautiful wife, in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Whistler BC. We love this place and to think it's just 90 minutes from home is unreal," he wrote in the caption.
The little town is a hot-spot for tourists and Vancouver locals alike, drawing people in with it's world-renowned ski terrain, charming vibe, incredible mountain views, and lively atmosphere.
Whistler was extra bustling this week, thanks to the 2025 Invictus Games being in town. From February 8-16 competitors from around the world are coming to the Vancouver area compete in adaptive sports. The international event was founded by Prince Harry, with the mission "to encourage a greater international understanding of and respect for those who serve their country by inspiring recovery and supporting the rehabilitation of wounded injured and sick (WIS) service personnel and veterans," the Invictus Games website said.
The games have also brought The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to town.
Meghan Markle shared a story on her Instagram account on February 11, showing them taking part in some outdoor fun in Whistler while snow tubing.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Michael Bublé , and Luisana Lopilato were also spotted in Vancouver earlier this week, enjoying a meal at Vij's, a popular restaurant in the city.
