The Toronto Maple Leafs pulled off an impressive comeback win in Monday night's playoff game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, winning the game 5-4 in overtime and putting the team within reach of winning its first playoff series since 2004.

Perhaps the only thing more impressive than Toronto's big win in Florida was the reaction of Leafs fans in attendance, and some of them were clearly overcome with emotion.

Colorado Avalanche star Nazem Kadri just became the first Muslim hockey player to win a Stanley Cup, and the former Toronto Maple Leaf had some salty words for his doubters back in Canada.

Kadri's Avalanche defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 to win the Cup in six games on Sunday, and Kadri used his post-game interview to tear into those who criticized him before his trade out of Toronto in 2019.

Jon Cooper a encore une fois confirmé sa réputation de bon entraîneur-chef, le 7 juillet dernier, après la victoire du Lightning de Tampa Bay en finale de la Coupe Stanley. Tour à tour, il s'est adressé aux joueurs du Canadien de Montréal et leur a adressé de bons mots.

Auprès des plus jeunes tout particulièrement, Cooper a livré quelques encouragements bien sentis et des conseils pour la suite de leur carrière. Les séries éliminatoires de la coupe Stanley sont pleines de rebondissement. Cette fois ci, pour le cinquième match de la finale, c'est l'ouragan Elsa qui attend les Canadiens de Montréal à leur arrivée à Tampa.

Dans un article de la Ligue nationale de hockey, on apprend que les joueurs auraient pris un vol de Montréal peu avant midi pour arriver sur place avant la fermeture de l'aéroport international de Tampa à 17 h en raison de la présence d'Elsa dans le golfe de la Floride.
