An atmospheric river is set to drench British Columbia's South Coast heading into the weekend, bringing a month's worth of rain in just two to three days to some areas.

According to The Weather Network (TWN), the system will usher in “fall-like” conditions, with cooler temperatures and heavy rainfall after a stretch of dry weather.

We're still in the depths of spring, but it's never too early to get excited for the summer ahead. A recent weather forecast for the 2025 summer came out, and things in Western Canada are set to get heated.

The Weather Network (TWN) put out a "summer sneak peek," and it looks like there's going to be a flip in the weather pretty soon. While April was chilly for much of Canada, many parts of B.C. and Alberta have been enjoying warmer temperatures. TWN said that a "seasonal flip" is coming to close out the spring season though.

The weather forecast in BC is looking stormy, with a bomb cyclone set to hit this week. The storm is forecasted to bring high winds and wet weather to the region.

The BC weather forecast is going to be the wettest in the entire country, with a "storm parade" set to hit the coast for the next eight to 10 days straight.

Right after the strong windstorm, and tornado, that hit parts of the province early this week, this upcoming bout of weather is set to make coastal B.C. "the wettest part of the country," according to The Weather Network.

Over the weekend B.C. was hit with a strong atmospheric river, which led to significant floods in areas throughout Vancouver, the Lower Mainland as a whole, and parts of Vancouver Island.

Videos of Metro Vancouver show significant flooding in the streets, so much so that some people took their kayaks to the roads, and fish were found swimming in them.
