The Texas State Aquarium Put Skeletons In The Shark Tank And It's Creepy AF

Boo in the Blue is back! 🎃💀
Contributor

It's no secret that bodies of water can contain some of your greatest fears.

Now, the Texas State Aquarium has added to the frights for their annual 'Boo in the Blue' event.

From now until Halloween night, you can visit some of your favorite sea animals with a spooky twist.

It's not Halloween without Boo in the Blue!

Texas State Aquarium

The aquarium will have a very seasonal look to celebrate the holiday, featuring fun photo backgrounds and special unscheduled animal encounters.

You'll also want to keep all eyes on the tanks, as decorations have been placed throughout the habitats.

You might even get a special visit from a real-life swimming skeleton! (It's just a diver in a skeleton costume but don't tell the kids)

The aquarium is also holding a virtual costume contest that can be entered from anywhere.

Just post a photo of you and your boo (pun intended) with #txstateaquarium for your chance to be one of the three winners selected at the end of the month.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the event has been spread over three weeks in order to minimize large crowds.

Guests are required to wear face masks and are encouraged to practice social distancing and avoid touching surfaces.
