You can go on a scavenger hunt around south Florida for huge cash prizes this Spring.

A series of real-world treasure hunts is being launched by Treasure Quest Adventures (TQA), and there's more than $10,000 hidden at the end.

Our hope is to give the community something positive and fun to focus on while staying COVID-conscious. Ian Lovejoy, TQA founder

The quest lasts throughout February and March in several Florida cities where participants will use virtual and real-world clues to find the prize.

TQA shared with Narcity that the hunt will require skill, not luck, and participants will compete both against each other and the clock.

As the adventure goes on, the clues will get increasingly harder and eventually lead one lucky treasure-hunter to thousands of dollars. The first participant to find it keeps it.

One of the best parts (besides the $10k) is that the activity is a totally COVID-conscious way to get out of the house this spring.

If you're interested in signing up for the quest, you can register in the Florida county closest to you.

TQA is also planning future scavenger hunts in Georgia, South Carolina and Texas.
