Work It On Netflix

5, 6, 7, 8! If you love teen movies and dancing, Work It on Netflix is exactly what you need in your life. The film is set to premiere this summer, and from the looks of the trailer, viewers are in for the adventure of a lifetime.

Recently, the streamer provided a first look at their latest project that follows a group of high school students as they learn a thing or two about fancy footwork.

Work It tells the story of Quinn Ackerman, a high school senior who has aspirations to attend the college of her dreams. However, there's one thing standing in her way — her ability to dance.

In order to get accepted into post-secondary, Quinn must find a way to shine in a dance competition. However, performing isn't exactly her strong suit.

In order to have a fighting chance, Quinn makes it her mission to create her own dance squad consisting of a ragtag group of misfits who hope to take down the school's best team.

With the help of her new friends and a super cute coach, the high school senior is able to find her footing and make a name for herself in the dance world.

According to the trailer, Work It comes from the same studio that brought viewers To All the Boys I've Loved Before and The Kissing Booth — two of the streamer's most beloved teen films.

If the upcoming movie is anywhere near as good as other projects have been, we may just have a new favourite on our hands.

Work It has a cast full of familiar faces including Peyton Meyer (Girl Meets World), Sabrina Carpenter (Tall Girl), Keiynan Lonsdale (Love, Simon), Liza Koshy (Liza on Demand), and Michelle Buteau (The Circle).

To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You star Jordan Fisher will also appear in the film as Quinn's dance coach and love interest.

According to What's on Netflix, filming for the movie took place between the cities of Los Angeles and Toronto.

Work It will be coming to the streamer on Friday, August 7. Check out the trailer for the movie below!
