It's that time of year again where theme parks and local farms start turning into spooky spots and start putting up all the fall and Halloween decor. Six Flags Over Georgia is no exception, and the fun starts next weekend. You can grab your friends and gear up for weekends full of scares and fun!

Six Flags has changed their annual FrightFest to HALLOWFEST this year, but it'll still be as frightening as ever. Starting September 19 running through November 1, you can indulge in all things eerie at this event.

HALLOWFEST splits up its thrills between day and night, so those who aren't into the more terrifying things can still enjoy the decor and thrilling rollercoasters at the park.

But at 6:00 p.m. every night, creatures of your worst nightmares get released and it's every man for himself.

There are specific scare zones that you can walk through to really send chills up your spine too. You might also find yourself being followed by a dead clown or a living doll every now and then.

During the day, guests can expect to get candy at points all throughout the park, listen to family-friendly Halloween stories on the famous Six Flags train, have the option to purchase sweet Halloween park treats, and so much more.

Instead of having any of their haunted attractions inside this year, everything will be outside to be extra safe when it comes to sanitation and social distancing.

All guests will be required to wear a mask and scare-actors are required to stay six feet away from all visitors, so you don't have to worry about a monster sneaking up on you and whispering menacingly into your ears. The park will also have a capacity limit in place.

During your visit, you might as well take a ride on the new Catwoman and Poison Ivy rides that were just introduced this year too for some extra thrills.

Tickets are on sale now for HALLOWFEST, so if you're looking to creep it real, now might be the time to start planning your Six Flags adventure.
