Burger King's Plant-Based 'Impossible Whopper' Is Finally Coming To Canada

It's happening. 🍔
Contributor

After the successful U.S. launch, Burger King's Impossible Whopper is coming to Canada and people in Ontario can get it as of Monday, March 22.

The plant-based version of the fan-favourite burger will sweep through the rest of the country on April 12, said a news release from Burger King.

"The Whopper is an icon, and we know how much our guests love its unique, flame-grilled taste. But, we also know those guests - and really, all Canadians - are always looking for more choice, and are increasingly interested in options without beef," says Matt Wright, General Manager, Burger King Canada.

You'll get everything you'd expect on a Whopper: tomatoes, onions, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, and pickles on a toasted sesame seed bun.

The only difference is that the patty is made of plants instead of meat.
