This Calgary Pub Has The Best Hangover Food & Everything On The Menu Is Under $8

We got a sneak peek at the brand new menu! 👀
Contributor

Hangover food just hits different. This place in Calgary is the best place to go if you want to load up amazing pub food without spending all your money. El Furniture Warehouse Calgary doesn't have a single thing on their menu over $7.95, so you can eat as much as you want without worrying about wracking up a gross bill.

Narcity chatted with Marc Solomon, regional operator of The Warehouse Group, who gave us the scoop on the hot spot's new menu. If you feel like you've heard of this place before, you're not wrong.

They've got several locations across Canada. But the Calgary location is the first one to get the brand-new menu. It's actually so new that it's not even up on their website yet.

That's why we want to give you a sneak peek of what can be expected when you decide to head to the pub.

The restaurant's dishes are divided into three price points: $5.95, $6.95, and $7.95. So you can pick and choose what you want from each category without worrying about spending a dime over $8.

In the cheapest $5.95 section, you'll find delicious finger food like perogies, crispy wings, calamari, and fries. If you're considering a slightly healthier option, you can opt for the cauliflower wings or the tuna poke bowl that are at the same price point.

There's also a unique "West Coast Taco" that's offered in this section; it's centred around beer-battered white fish, so you know you can eat something boozy alongside your drink.

In the $6.95 section, you have some classic salads, like the Caesar and Farmers'. You've also got some "Big Bowl Entrees" that are all different.

From an enchilada plate and a mac and cheese bowl to the General Tao Bowl, these entrees are the perfect cure to all your worst hangovers.

Solomon told us that the Warehouse mac and cheese is a particular favourite among locals, so give it a go if you're curious. You can't go wrong with macaroni and cheese.

The $7.95 section offers familiar burgers and sandwiches. If you're a burger aficionado, quite a few dishes will catch your eye: the Chicken Santa Fe, the Smokeshow Burger, and a crispy falafel burger.

While the dishes themselves don't go beyond $7.95, keep in mind that you'll be paying extra for add-ons or toppings.

You can finish off with a $5.95 chocolate s'more sundae, strawberry cheesecake, or the "mini carnival donuts."

There's just something special about pub food that just wipes a hangover out before it even begins.
