Health care workers have been some of the country's greatest heroes throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and Chipotle is looking to give back.

The burrito chain announced that they will be giving away 250,000 free burritos to health care workers across the country, while also inviting everyone to show their thanks on a virtual "wall of gratitude."

"Given the events of the past year, we are once again bringing our fans together to show appreciation for the heroic efforts of the healthcare community," said Chris Brandt, chief marketing officer at Chipotle.

In order to claim your free burrito, you simply submit your application, get your unique code and then present the code to the cashier at check-out.

Chipotle is also helping out health care workers through an e-gift card program, which will match 10% of e-gift card purchases and donate it to the American Nurses Foundation.
