What's better than a beach day? A spa one! Remington Hot Springs in California allows you to soak the stress away, all while taking in stunning views. You'll get to relax and unwind surrounded by mother nature.

Remington Hot Springs is a hidden gem nestled along the 151-mile long Kern River above the city of Bakersfield and near Bodfish.

You and your BFFs can escape L.A. and hit the road for a 3-hour journey outside of the city.

The Golden State has its fair share of thermal springs, but this one is extra special because there are no fees to visit!

23ABC News Bakersfield notes that you can find this hidden oasis off of Kern Canyon Road along Highway 178.

The short trail to the bottom can be a bit rocky, but the short journey will be well worth the trip

As soon as you reach the end of the trail, you'll be greeted by the rushing waters of the river, the slight smell of sulfur, and multiple tubs!

Each one is reportedly a different temperature, so if one is too hot, you can try relaxing in another one.

This lesser-known spot can get a bit crowded on the weekend, so if you want a chance to get the area to yourself, try going at an odd time during the week.

With Hobo Campground nearby, you can revisit these springs again and again during your camping trip.

River views while soaking the day away, never looked so good. Pack a lunch, and you'll be able to dine with a view, too!

Strip into your favorite bathing suit, and prepare for the ultimate spa day.

And it's all without paying the hefty price tag.
