After just extending their operational hours, the sprawling theme will close Universal Studios Florida an hour early in August.

5 P.M.

New Closing Time for Universal Studios

Currently, the entire resort is operating from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day, however, park executives decided to close the Studios portion of the resort earlier.

Islands of Adventure, home to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, will still close at 6 p.m, and Universal's nightlife district, CityWalk, will not suffer an operational change.

This comes on the heels of Universal Orlando canceling the popular Halloween Horror Nights for the first time in 30 years.
