As for the kiddos, Dan Levy's character David got him a nomination for Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series. Annie Murphy's portrayal of Alexis earned her a spot in the Supporting Actress In A Comedy category.

According to the Emmys official website, Dan Levy scored two more nominations for Directing For A Comedy Series and Writing For A Comedy Series, both for Schitt's Creek.

The co-creator, writer, and star added in a tweet that "for once I am speechless."

Also showing off some Canadian pride is Sandra Oh who's nominated for Lead Actress In A Drama Series for her role on Killing Eve.
