North Beach Provincial Park is a scenic summer oasis on the shores of Lake Ontario, about three hours from Toronto.
It's a quieter alternative to its neighbour Sandbanks Provincial Park, with a "one-kilometre ribbon of sand," making it a dreamy spot for a summer getaway.
This hidden gem park offers more than 2,000 metres of silky beaches and a serene enclosed bay.
If you prefer a gradual drop-off into the water, you'll want to keep to the lake side, as there is a steep drop-off on the bay side.
In addition to swimming, the park offers birding, fishing and boating.
While in the area, you can also check out Sandbanks Provincial Park, home to three gorgeous white sand beaches and rolling dunes.
