Here are eight gorgeous beaches to visit near Toronto this summer if you've already been to Wasaga.
Crystal Beach

You'll need to purchase a Day Pass in order to visit this beach if you aren't a resident.

Why You Need To Go: You can relax on "one of the finest stretches of sandy beach on Lake Erie's north shore" by visiting this beach, according to Ontario's Southwest.
Located 2 hours and 20 minutes from Toronto, Port Stanley Beach has achieved Blue Flag status for its clean waters and safety criteria.
You'll feel like you've taken a trip to the East Coast as you relax on the soft shores with the colourful beach town as a backdrop.
If you're looking for somewhere quieter, you can head down the road to Little Beach, which features 185 metres of secluded sandy beach.
The town of Port Stanley is a charming spot to explore. You can cool off with an ice cream cone from Broderick's, explore the local shops and dine at the delicious restaurants.

Sandbanks Provincial Park

Why You Need To Go: If you're craving a tropical getaway without a pricey plane ticket, this Ontario Provincial Park is the place to be.
Located two and a half hours from Toronto, Sandbanks Provincial Park is home to the "world's largest baymouth barrier dune formation," according to the website.
It also boasts "three expansive sandy beaches that some say are among the best in Canada" and you'll feel like you're in the Caribbean as you lounge on the white sandy shores and splash through the crystal waters.
The park is "famous" for its beaches and swimming. Both Outlet and Lakeshore beaches have gradual drop-offs, while Dune beach has a steep drop off.
You can also enjoy some scenic hikes through the park, including ones that take you through the incredible dune system.

Sauble Beach
