Emirates is hiring in Toronto and the jobs come with tons of travel perks and accommodation
If getting paid to travel sounds like a dream come true, you might want to spruce up your resume and head to this upcoming hiring event in Toronto.
Luxury airline Emirates is hosting a job fair in Toronto this month in order to fill cabin crew positions. The airline, which is based in Dubai, offers a "growing network of worldwide destinations, industry leading inflight entertainment, regionally inspired cuisine, and world-class service," according to the website.
Emirates currently flies to more than 130 destinations across the world, meaning that you'll get to see a diverse range of destinations while on the job.
The hiring event is taking place on July 29 at the Hilton Toronto.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, fluent in English, have hospitality experience and meet the height requirements, among other qualifications.
The cabin crew positions come with a range of benefits, including concessional travel tickets so you can explore new cities outside of your layovers, transportation to and from work and 30 calendar days leave per year.
The job also comes with furnished accommodation in a two or three bedroom apartment shared with other colleagues.
There's no need to submit your application before attending the hiring event. There is a dress code that includes business attire, formal shoes and more.
If you are successful, you'll undergo a seven-and-a-half week training program in Dubai, where you'll learn everything from service to security procedures.
The average total pay for the starting salary is $2,770 USD per month, equating to $3,802 Canadian dollars. Salaries are tax-free.
