As a Foreign Language Communications Analyst at CSIS, your work will be crucial to national security. You'll be translating materials from languages like Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, Punjabi, Urdu or Hindi into English or French. The job is more than just translating, though — you'll also analyze and assess the relevance of this information to ongoing investigations. In addition to translation, you'll conduct deep research into social, economic and geopolitical topics, drawing on your understanding of different cultures. You'll need to get an "Enhanced Top Secret" security clearance, which includes a security interview, a polygraph test and a thorough background check — even your finances will be reviewed.
