Après un peu moins de trois ans d'attente, le spin off de la célèbre série Game of Thrones, intitulé House of the Dragon, est finalement en ondes autant sur HBO que la plateforme Crave au Québec. Le premier épisode a non seulement créé un grand engouement, mais aussi quelques réactions négatives alors que certain.es membres ont rencontré des problèmes de connexion sur le site.

C'est en octobre 2019 que HBO a annoncé pour la première fois l'arrivée de cette production qui est tirée du livre Fire and Blood de George R.R. Martin. La diffusion a officiellement débuté le dimanche 21 août.
