So, here are more than a dozen Kirkland Signature products at Costco Canada that will cost you less than name-brand items at grocery stores.
Water filter pitcher

Costco's Kirkland version of the Brita water filtration system costs $24.99 for a 10-cup pitcher and two filters.
At Walmart, the name-brand Brita pitcher costs $39.97 for a 10-cup jug with only one filter.
That means you get more from Costco — an extra filter — and pay less!
Cream cheese

You can get a four-pack of Kirkland Signature cream cheese for $9.49 at Costco.
Each brick is 250 grams, so you pay $2.37 per brick, or $0.95 per 100 grams.
Walmart has two bricks of name-brand Philadelphia cream cheese for $8. Each brick is also 250 grams, which works out to $4 per brick, or $1.60 per 100 grams.
Meanwhile, at Metro, one 250-gram brick of Philadelphia cream cheese costs $5.99 — that's $2.40 per 100 grams.
French roast coffee

Kirkland Signature French Roast coffee costs $14.99 for a 1.13-kilogram bag at Costco.
That breaks down to $1.33 per 100 grams.
Metro has a 793-gram bag of Starbucks French Roast coffee for $26.99, which works out to $3.40 per 100 grams.
Not only do you get over 40% more coffee with Kirkland, but it's also $12 cheaper.
Hazelnut spread

If you don't care about name brands, you can save money with the Kirkland hazelnut spread at Costco.
It costs $12.99 for a two-pack of 1-kilogram jars of Costco's hazelnut spread.
That's $6.50 per jar and $0.65 per 100 grams.
Walmart has a two-pack of Nutella for $12.97, and while that price tag is slightly less expensive, you don't get as much as you do with the Kirkland version. The Walmart jars are only 725 grams, which works out to $0.89 per 100 grams.
Meanwhile, at Metro, a 1-kilogram jar of Nutella costs $11.99, which is almost double the price of a single jar of the Kirkland dupe.
Chocolate-dipped granola bars

If you're looking to save money on snacks, these Kirkland Signature dipped granola bars are a cheaper option than the name brand.
For a box of 48 bars that are 31 grams each, you pay $11.99 which works out to $0.24 per bar and $0.80 per 100 grams.
At Sobeys, name-brand Quaker Dipps granola bars cost $3.99 for a 156-gram box with five bars.
That's $0.79 per bar and $2.55 per 100 grams.
At Metro, it costs $3.79 for a 156-gram box of five Quaker Dipps granola bars.
That breaks down to $0.75 per bar and $2.42 per 100 grams.
You get almost 10 times as many granola bars with the Costco Kirkland product compared to the name-brand items!
Honey

Kirkland Signature honey comes in a pack of three bottles that are 750 grams each.
With a price tag of $19.99, the cost breaks down to $0.88 per 100 grams.
Metro grocery stores have name-brand Billybee honey at $8.29 for a 375-gram bottle.
That's $2.21 per 100 grams!
Marinara sauce

You can get a three-pack of Kirkland Signature marinara sauce for $18.49 at Costco.
Each jar is 860 millilitres so you pay $6.16 per jar and $0.71 per 100 millilitres.
At Sobeys, a 650-millilitre jar of Classico marinara sauce costs $6.79. That's $1.04 per 100 millilitres.
Metro has that same 650-millilitre jar of Classico marinara sauce for $5.79 which breaks down to a cost of $0.89 per 100 millilitres.
Cheddar cheese

You can get a 1.15-kilogram block of Kirkland Signature cheddar cheese for $14.99 at Costco.
Breaking the price down by how much you get, it costs $1.30 per 100 grams.
At Walmart, a 400-gram block of name-brand Armstrong cheddar cheese is $7.78.
That works out to $1.94 per 100 grams.
Also, a 400-gram block of Black Diamond cheddar cheese costs $7.28 at Walmart which breaks down to $1.82 per 100 grams.
Nut bars

Kirkland Signature nut bars are dupes of Kind Bars which means you can expect to get it at a cheaper price.
It costs $15.99 for a box of 24 bars that are 40 grams each which breaks down to $0.66 per bar and $1.66 per 100 grams.
You can get a pack of 12 Kind Bars that are 40 grams each for $18.97 at Walmart.
That breaks down to $1.58 per bar and $3.89 per 100 grams.
Chocolate chip granola bars

Breaking that down by what you get for the price, it costs $0.18 per bar and $0.77 per 100 grams.
You can get a 40-pack of Quaker Chewy granola bars for $16.49 at Sobeys and $15.99 and Metro.
That's $0.41 per bar and $1.71 per 100 grams at Sobeys and $0.39 per bar and $1.66 per 100 grams at Metro.
Not only do you get more with the Costco product but the price is cheaper even when it's not broken down by what you get!
Beef jerky

Ibuprofen
