Kariya Park is a little oasis located in the City of Mississauga. The park was actually named after Mississauga's sister city, Kariya, Japan and is "centred around serenity and natural beauty, designed to authentically capture the essence of Japan," according to Visit Mississauga.
You'll find features like a traditional Japanese pavilion and a quaint bridge over a pond which offers stunning views of the cherry blossom trees.
You'll also want to see the Friendship Bell, which was a gift from Kariya, as well as The Statue of Friendship which can be found as you stroll along the picturesque trails.
The best time to see the cherry blossoms in the park varies from year to year. The blossoms are just starting to bud in the Toronto area, so keep an eye out for peak bloom predictions.
Kariya City in Japan has even has a Mississauga Park, featuring a miniature version of Mississauga's City Hall, along with a maple leaf installation and a bear sculpture.
