How do I play the Powerball lottery?
To play the Powerball lottery, you select five numbers between 1 and 69 for the white balls and then select one number between 1 and 26 for the red Powerball, as explained on the Powerball website.
All six numbers must match to win the jackpot. However, if your ticket matches five of the numbers you will win a smaller prize.
You can also choose "quick pick" and let the lottery terminal randomly pick your numbers.
