Antonio Brown Is Wanted By Police For Domestic Abuse & He's Tweeting As If Nothing Happened
Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player Antonio Brown has a warrant out for his arrest for a domestic abuse charge. While Tampa police tried arresting the athlete yesterday, he still isn't behind bars, but he's definitely behind a keyboard somewhere posting tweets online — seemingly unbothered.
According to court documents obtained by FOX13, police were called out to a South Tampa home on Monday following an argument between Brown and his ex-fiancée, who is also the mother of his children.
FOX13 reports that she told police that the ex-NFL player threw her things into the street and threatened to shoot her if she went back inside the house. The woman said this wasn't the first time an incident like this occurred.
Per the outlet, the police report states that Brown "threw a shoe at the victim striking her in the ponytail. The victim had no injuries but believed the shoe was meant for her head."
A domestic violence charge was filed, and, when police went to Brown's home, they say he refused to leave. According to the news outlet, there are marked and unmarked police cars monitoring the athlete's home and neighborhood.
While cops haven't seen the wide receiver, those on Twitter still get a glimpse into what he's thinking about, which seems to be promoting his music.
On Tuesday, he responded to a tweet from E.J. Speed, a linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts, who posted his appreciation for an interview Brown was involved in. The footballer-turned-music artist replied with finger-pointing emojis alluding to a dance that became famous after his Rolling Loud performance in Miami.

Brown published another tweet that same day with the same emojis along with a photo of the jumbotron at a sports outing, where it reads "3. Put That **** On - AB," ranking a pregame playlist.

On Thursday, Fox Sports reporter Amy Dash tweeted that Brown was reportedly in a "standoff with police," who were negotiating with him using a megaphone. She added that "Brown allegedly has guns in the house."
