Meet Frankie Cena, an established host, TV personality, and content creator. Frankie is extremely well versed in the content space with extensive scripting, filming and editing experience. Frankie focuses on authenticity and always strives to over deliver with each and every brand collaboration.
Tell us more about yourself
I’m the “Game Show Guy”! I’ve been on 9 game shows - from winning a car on the Price is Right to building a bridge on HBO’s “The Bridge” to singing my way to victory on Netflix’s “Sing On! I’m the co-host of a gay, reality TV podcast, THYRSTY BOYS. I love all reality TV competition and dating shows. I am the current live gaming host for OLG. I’m also the former host of the world’s largest beauty pageant, Miss World. I love board games, escape rooms, and my Frenchie named Boo!
It’s been a dream come true hosting for OLG’s Live Gameshow Events. It brings my love of game shows and hosting together! I have my podcast THYRSTY BOYS and I’m always on the look out for my next reality competition series.
How would you describe the style and tone of your content?
Light-hearted, opinion-based, and engaging. A huge part of my content relies on the audience’s participation. Whether it be guessing the answers to trivia clips or giving their thoughts on complex situations.
What do you enjoy most about content creation?
I love being on camera. I feel like I can be my authentic-self when the camera is rolling. I am an open book, with nothing to hide and I love sharing my experiences with the world! I hope people can laugh, learn something, or just have fun.
For the podcast, we plan out the topics based on what’s trending and what we want to talk about, and really make sure the clips will be usable on socials. So instead of long segments, I try to vision what individual clips will look like and how they’ll translate as shorter content.
Share a fun fact about yourself.
I’m a former Mr. World Canada! I was crowned Mr. Talent for my singing at the world’s largest beauty pageant, Mr. World. I have performed for the former Queen of England. I can make chipmunk noises and blow bubbles.
