Get ready for the trip of a lifetime! In Zac Efron’s Netflix show, the actor will be taking viewers on an unforgettable trip around the globe. The series is called Down to Earth with Zac Efron and it will be hitting the streamer this July.
On June 24, Netflix gave viewers a first look at the upcoming travel series, which follows Efron and wellness expert Darin Olien as they “search for healthy, sustainable ways to live.”
The photos include the 17 Again actor relaxing in some beautiful blue water, getting up close and personal with bees as they make honey, kneading dough to cook up some tasty creations, and undergoing what appears to be some sort of spa treatment.
Further details about the series are sparse, but on Earth Day back in April, Efron dedicated an Instagram post to Mother Nature.
“Happy Earth Day! I have always been in awe of the magic and mystery of Mother Nature. Exploring the unknown has always been a true passion in my life and now, more than ever, I realize how important it is to take care of our planet, our people and every living thing we share it with,” the 32-year-old wrote.
“Please be safe, be healthy and be kind to one another. 🌍 ❤”
As it turns out, Netflix isn’t the only streaming service that Efron has been working with lately. He also has an upcoming show called Killing Zac Efron on Quibi.
Ironically enough, during the show’s filming in Papua New Guinea, the High School Musical star contracted a bacterial infection and wound up being hospitalized.
“Very thankful to everyone who has reached out. I did get sick in Papua New Guinea but I bounced back quick and finished an amazing 3 weeks in P.N.G.,” he wrote in a post from late December.
“I’m home for the holidays with my friends and family. Thanks for all the love and concern, see you in 2020!”
It’s unclear exactly when Killing Zac Efron will be released on Quibi, but according to Deadline, the show will be similar in style to Man vs. Wild.
Down to Earth with Zac Efron is coming to Netflix on July 10. You can check out the show’s first look below.
