Air Transat Just Cancelled Most Of Its Winter Getaway Flights From Alberta & BC

It looks like 2020 may not be the year for wanderlust. Air Transat cancelled most of their winter flights from Alberta and B.C.

According to CTV News, the airline says that they're cancelling flights that were set to take off from Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, and Winnipeg and head to sunshine destinations and the U.S.

The only routes that are based out of the western gates will still takeoff from Sunday, November 1 to Friday, April 30. 

These include flights from Vancouver to Toronto and Montreal as well as some connecting flights to Europe. 

Customers should expect to receive refunds rather than credit.
