Dr. Anthony Fauci has been the country's go-to guy when it comes to all things COVID-19, and now he will be the subject of a children's book coming this summer.

The book, entitled Dr. Fauci: How a Boy from Brooklyn Became America's Doctor, follows him from his childhood in Brooklyn to where he is now and even offers some facts about vaccines.

The upcoming book comes from author Kate Messner, who is best known for the Ranger in Time series and The Seventh Wish, and is illustrated by Alexandra Bye.

Readers of the "definitive picture book biography" will get a special look into Fauci's biggest challenges when dealing with some of the nation's public health issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

The book is set to be released on June 29, 2021.
