Things for a little heated between Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt at the 2024 Oscars and it's the playful levity that the Academy Awards needs.

On Sunday, March 10, two of the leads of the most popular films this summer took some jabs at each other and it might have Gosling wondering if he's "Ken-ough."

After a somewhat frosty greeting between the two, they dived into the heart of the matter.

"I'm just happy that we can finally put this Barbenheimer rivalry behind us," Gosling said to Blunt of the tension between the blockbusters Barbie and Oppenheimer.

"And the way this award season turned out it wasn't that much of a rivalry," Blunt quipped in response to Oppenheimer cleaning up at other events.

Gosling then graciously congratulated Blunt before going in for the kill.

"But you know I think I kind of figured out why they call it Barbenheimer and they didn't call it off and Openbarbie," the Ken actor retorted. "Well, I think you guys are at the tail end of that because you were riding Barbie's coattails all summer!"

The camera then cut to Barbie lead Margot Robbie laughing at the sassy moment.

"Thanks for Ken-splaining that to me Mr. 'I-need-to-paint-my-abs-on-to-get-nominated," replied Blunt.

Unfortunately, Gosling didn't win in his nominated category, but his interaction with Blunt is a standout interaction from the night.
