'Geriatric Millennial' Is The Newest Generational Term To Know & Here's Who Fits The Bill
It's been dividing the internet!
As if we needed another generational term to worry about. The phrase "geriatric millennial" has been taking over the internet and here's all you need to know about the new term and who qualifies under the criteria.
An article that was posted to Medium in April is credited with coining the phrase, which went viral after the article was shared on Twitter on May 14.
According to Erica Dhawan, who penned the article, "geriatric millennials are a special micro-generation" born between 1980 and 1985 who were the first ones to grow up with technology like computers in their homes.
This new term got a lot of attention on Twitter, with some people not taking too kindly to being called that and expressing their disgust while others were saying it's exactly how they feel and that they are "blessed and honoured" to have the title.
If you're feeling down about fitting the bill of a "geriatric millennial," you have pretty good company in your micro-generation. Famous geriatric millennials include Dan Levy, Ryan Gosling, Hannah Simone, Cobie Smulders and Seth Rogen, who were all born between 1980 and 1985.
