Will you be visited by the Florida Reaper?

The Sunshine State may have some particularly creepy historical places throughout the state, but a real-life Florida Grim Reaper haunting its beaches might take the cake.

Florida lawyer Daniel Uhlfelder is once again donning his scythe and hood, this time to protest the Republican National Convention visiting Jacksonville during the pandemic as a part of his Grim Reaper Tour.

I will be addressing this tomorrow at Jacksonville for Grim Reaper tour

Uhlfelder told News4Jax that he would be stalking around the pier at Jacksonville Beach at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 3. A video shared from the lawyer's Twitter page features reporters talking about concerns surrounding large crowds and the potential spread of COVID-19 at the RNC set to an ominous tone, which Uhlfelder says he will be addressing during his beach visit today.

The Florida lawyer first gained renown after his initial haunts took place on Walton County beaches in May.

His first demonstration was meant to protest against Florida’s phased reopening when the quarantine restrictions began easing up.
