Jagmeet Singh Is Streaming Live On Twitch This Friday & You Can Tune In And Watch

He has a TikTok account, he's hung out with Nardwuar, and now he's live-streaming video games on Twitch: is it too early to call Jagmeet Singh the coolest politician ever?

The leader of Canada's New Democratic Party is going on Twitch this Friday at 7 p.m. ET with popular streamers NorthernLion and Hasan Piker (and some as-yet-unannounced special guests).

The trio will be playing Among Us, a multiplayer video game with players acting as either spaceship crew members or saboteurs.

Jagmeet responded to a tweet from NorthernLion on Wednesday night inviting him to join the stream by saying, "I'm in."

NorthernLion and Hasan first asked Jagmeet to stream the game back in October, and the politician responded to the request by saying that he'd hit them up in their DMs.

Those who follow American politics may remember that U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez streamed the same game in late October as an effort to get people out and voting in the U.S. presidential election.

At one point, her stream hit 400,000 viewers, too.

This isn't the first time Jagmeet has approved of AOC's approach to politics — in 2019 he responded to one of the congresswoman's tweets about taxing the rich and said he was "on it."

But whether Jagmeet hits the same high numbers on his stream — or if he's any good at video games — is yet to be seen!
