Lady luck may be running out for Florida when it comes to the tropics.

Tropical Storm Laura is expected to become the thirteenth storm to form this season, and Gov. Ron DeSantis is urging residents to prepare.

Floridians should take time now to prepare 7 days of supplies.

It's too early to tell if this new storm will for sure hit the Sunshine State, but forecasts are saying to be prepared.

Florida almost came close to a brush with another major storm recently, Tropical Storm Isaias.

Hopefully, luck will continue to be on the state's side.
