If the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Disney & other popular Central Florida destinations is traffic, then you're in for a treat.

In a roundtable meeting with transportation leaders today, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis mentioned that traffic in Central Florida is actually improving.

When the state shut down in April, a move was made to keep highway construction projects ongoing while there was less traffic on the roads. 

That resulted in much of the I-4 Ultimate project, along with many others in the region, being completed ahead of schedule.

With the ongoing new construction, commute times are expected to continue improving.
