The bioluminescence season is in full swing right now in Florida and taking a kayak or paddleboard out for a midnight float makes for a magical adventure — if you know where to go. The folks at Lake Life Paddle take regular group tours out to the best spots on the east coast, and this weekend, you can join them on a sunset bioluminescent tour for just $20!

This nighttime paddling adventure will take you to the shores of Titusville, where you’ll soak up a gorgeous sunset before exploring the illuminated waters once it gets dark.

Don’t worry if you’re a beginner when it comes to SUP boards, everyone will receive instructions before the tour really kicks off.

Both kayaks and paddleboards are available to rent from Lake Life for $50 each, but if you BYOB (board, not bottle), it’s just $20, which includes a prepaid tip for guides.

Once you register to save your spot for the tour on Sunday, August 9, you’ll be sent an email to confirm the meeting location.

Check-in at the launch site is between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., with the tour taking off at 8 p.m. and lasting until 10:30 p.m.

Lake Life will provide all the equipment you need for your nighttime adventure, including the paddleboard and paddle if you rent it, the paddleboard lesson, a flotation device, whistle, glow stick, and a dry bag for your valuables.

You can also bring snacks and drinks for yourself, as well as swimwear, towels, and insect repellent. Protective footwear for hard rocks and shells, as well as cash tips guides, aren’t required, but much appreciated.
