Shawn Mendes Just Revealed That This Cuban Restaurant In Miami Is One Of His Favorites

South Florida is known for its outstanding Cuban eateries, and one, in particular, is now gaining some well-deserved attention. Singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes recently said in an Instagram video that Malanga Cuban Cafe in Miami is one of his favorite restaurants. This quaint food joint serves up seriously tasty dishes that every Miamian needs to try. 

Mendes recently recorded a short video of himself revealing that his favorite spot to eat around Miami lately is Malanga Cuban Cafe. Popstar Camila Cabello, Miami native, and Mendes' girlfriend has also visited the small cafe.  

The Canadian singer, who is part Portuguese, said he orders food from the Latin eatery on Postmates. During the video, Mendes also encouraged listeners to support local small businesses during the pandemic. 

"During this time I think it's incredibly important to take care of each other and order food locally from businesses in the city that you live in and take care of the people in your community," said Mendes. 

Malanga Cuban Cafe is currently open and serves up authentic and delicious Cuban eats that you need to try if you're in the Magic City. Menu highlights include the crispy ham, chicken, or chorizo croquetas and the Cuban sandwich with melty Swiss cheese.

You can also indulge in massive burgers at the cafe like the Down South, a five-ounce patty smothered in tasty barbeque sauce, and the Big Blue, featuring two patties filled with bleu cheese.
