Nina Dobrev & More Canadian Celebs React To Naya Rivera's Death

Sending condolences. Naya Rivera's body was recovered days after she was presumed dead from drowning in a California lake. Now, Canadian celebrities are reaching out on social media to share their devastation.
The 33-year-old first went missing on July 8 when the Glee star rented a boat on Lake Piru with her four-year-old son Josey.

However, when it was overdue for return, an employee went looking for the two.
Only Josey was found asleep on the boat wearing a life jacket while his mother's vest was nearby on the craft.
According to The Associated Press via CP24, Rivera's body was found five days after the search and recovery began and the Ventura County Sheriff's Office did confirm her identity.
TMZ claims that Sheriff Bill Ayub says there's no indication of foul play or suicide and this was simply a "tragic accidental drowning death."
Rivera's body will be taken to the Ventura County Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy and positive identification.
Ayub added that her boat wasn't anchored and based on conversations with her son, it seems the two went for a swim together.
The Sorry Not Sorry author was able to boost Josey back onto the boat but when he turned around, she disappeared. It's likely that the strong current contributed to her drowning, per TMZ.
Rivera's body was recovered on July 13, exactly seven years to the day that her Glee co-star Cory Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room, per AP.
The Calgary-born actor died from a toxic mix of alcohol and heroin.
Many celebrities in the Glee family talked about their former co-star's death, including Montreal's Vanessa Lengies.
"So much grief today. Grateful for our love and connection. Holding everyone tight. Family for lifetimes," the 34-year-old tweeted.
Fellow Canadian Nina Dobrev took to Instagram stories to share a photo of her with Rivera. She added a broken heart emoji and "RIP" in the caption.
